Anna Gunn
Anna Gunn, an American actress. The most well-known of her roles is Skyler White on Breaking Bad, an AMC show Breaking Bad, for which she was awarded the Primetime Emmy Award in 2013 and 2014 for Outstanding Supporting actress for a Drama Series. Other characters include Jean Ward in The Practice and Martha Bullock from Deadwood. Anna Gunn, born 1968 in Sante Fe New Mexico fell attracted to acting during The Preparatory School before moving with her family in Ohio. She spent a year at the British American Drama Academy and took classes in theatre as a student at Northwestern University. Anna was employed in the theatre industry in the Chicago area for several years before trying her hand at TV and films. Anna's first major role was Arden, in Down the Shore. She was in 29 episodes. In the early 90s she performed as a regular guest in TV and film, such as Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue. Martha Bullock was her role in Deadwood during two complete seasons. Skyler played her part in Breaking Bad. Sully The Deadwood film as well as other films also featured her. Gunn was also on the stage starring in the David Swimer-directed version of Sex With Strangers. In addition, she was a part of Numbered Days, a show made up of four plays. The story of Breaking Bad is usually centered around the relationship between Walter White, his wife Skyler as well as their uneasy relationship. The strained relationship and ending of it all mirror the ending of Walter White's story.
